Opening of Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) Online Training Themed Basic Digital Marketing (PDD) Batch 9 Year 2023
BPPTIK – The Office of
Information and Communication Technology Training and Research (BPPTIK) is
conducting Batch 9 of Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) online training
themed Basic Digital Marketing (Kewirausahaan
Digital Dasar - KDD). The training has been conducted online and carried out from
29 May to 5 June 2023, which will be followed by mentoring sessions on 6 – 19
June 2023. The opening ceremony was carried out on Monday, 29 May 2023.
The opening ceremony began with a report from the organizing committee by the Head of BPPTIK, Nusirwan. Thirty eight participants are taking part in this training, all MSME actors (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) from West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten. The teaching staff consists of 3 people from the General Office of Human Resources Development and Research on Communications and Informatics (BPSDMP Kominfo) of Yogyakarta. The opening was also attended by the Head of the Centre of Research and Development Centre on Informatics Applications and Public Information and Communications (Puslitbang Aptika-IKP), Said Mirza Pahlevi, teaching staff, and training participants.
The training was officially
opened by the Head of Puslitbang APTIKA-IKP. In his presentation, he stated
that the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) has been given
the task by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to implement and
accelerate digital transformation. This digital transformation is a change in
mindset in utilizing and using Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Not only does it inclued converting conventional data to digital, it also
includes changing the mindset to make all business processes in organizations
and institutions simpler and more efficient. Therefore, all tasks can be
carried out more quickly. This also includes being able to use data to make
valid and correct decisions. This is what is called digital transformation.
It is for this reason that
Kemkominfo is implementing several pillars of the program. The first pillar is
Digital Infrastructure. Without infrastructure, we cannot implement digital-based
business processes. Therefore, Kemkominfo has been building BTS towers in
various regions. The next pillar is Applications, which are widely used for
public services. The third pillar is Digital Economy. This pillar is very
important, because people are currently doing economic transactions on various
digital platforms. The fourth pillar is a Digital Society. Kemkominfo has
several strategies to realize a digital society. The first is to open various
kinds of training courses, from basic to advanced level, consisting of 8
academies. One of these academies is the Digital Entrepreneurship Academy
(DEA). DEA is a training program intended for the community, especially MSME
actors. Hopefully, this training is able to provide maximum benefits in advancing
MSME’s in Indonesia.
