DTS 2023 Socialization Program BPPTIK – Campus Partner Candidates

Cikarang (5/1/2023) – On Thursday, 5 January, BPPTIK held an event to socialize and identify cooperation opportunities for this year’s Digital Training Scholarship (DTS) training activities.

The event was attended by the Head of BPPTIK, Nusirwan, BPPTIK structural officials, the Director of LSP P2 BPPTIK, as well as campus partner representatives of prospective campus partners. More than 15 campus partner representatives attended this event, including Indraprasta PGRI University (Unindra PGRI), Krisnadwipayana University (Unkris), STMIK Bani Saleh, Bhayangkara Jaya University of Bekasi (Ubhara Bekasi), President University, Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ), Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Islamic University 45 of Bekasi (Unisma), Esa Unggul University (UEU), Muhammadiyah Business Institute of Bekasi (IBM Bekasi), Pelita Bangsa University (UPB), Singaperbangsa Universtiy of Karawang (Unsika), STIAMI Bekasi, Bina Bangsa, Bina Sarana Informatika, and several others.

Nusirwan stated that the DTS program, which is a National Priority Program from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (MICT), has a fairly large goal for 2023, especially based on research that Indonesia needs around 600,000 talents in the digital field. Therefore, in its implementation, MICT plans to synergize and collaborate with campus partners to fulfil this goal.

In this socialization event, BPPTIK focused on offering cooperation in two branches of DTS which are the Vocational School Graduate Academy (VSGA) and the Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) programs with various training themes.


In the next session, the Subcoordinator of Program and Reporting, Hamdani Pratama, mentioned that DTS has three approaches to developing digital human resources, namely Digital Leadership (targeting leadership-level practitioners), Digital Skill Certification (targeting technical and professional level workers, university and vocational school students), and Non-certification Basic Digital Skills (targeting the general public).


Meanwhile, Dyah Puspito Dewi Widowati, representative from the Subprogram of Training Implementation for Public (Subprogram Penyelenggaraan Pelatihan Umum), stated that VSGA is a competency-based vocational training and ICT certification program for high school (SMK or equivalent), diploma, and bachelor graduates.

There are 6 training programs opened which are: Junior Web Developer (JWD), Junior Mobile Programmer (JMP), Intermediate Animator (IA), Junior Graphic Designer (JGD), Main Computer Network Technician (TUJK), and Junior Network Administrator (JNA).

The DTS program in 2023 has 8 academies which are: Fresh Graduate Academy (FGA), Vocational School Graduate Academy (VSGA), Thematic Academy (TA), Professional Academy (PROA), Government Transformation Academy (GTA), Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA), Digital Leadership Academy (DLA), and Talent Scouting Academy (TSA). In practice, all DTS programs are funded by the government so participants can take part in the DTS trainings free of charge
